Ba Ngoc

Ba Ngoc is the Founder/CEO of ProtonX and the Founder of VietAI Hanoi. He loves programming and machine learning and strongly believes that “Machines are capable of getting past the limits of human speed in the future”.

In 2019, Ngoc was recognized by Google as the first Google Developers Expert in Machine Learning in Vietnam and the 66th all around the world.

In 2020 and 2021, Mr. Ngoc trained more than 120 programmers who passed the TensorFlow certification - a renowned AI certification from Google, positioning Vietnam in the top 4 countries with the highest number of successful candidates, alongside the United States, India, and South Korea.

In 2022, Ngoc started ProtonX - artificial intelligence company, with the mission of applying AI to solve society’s significant problems. In August 2022, ProtonX launched a pioneering smart editor - Studio., which helps users compose a document with only one sentence of ideas. Studio created half a billion Vietnamese words in the first two days of launch and became viral in the marketing and human resources community.

At the beginning of 2023, ProtonX emerged as the winner of the Sharktank - Pitch Contest held by Amazon Web Service Edtech Accelerator. This is a highly reputable Accelerator that has supported many successful companies such as Elsa, Royelles, and CloudLabs.

In 2025, Ngoc and his research team at ProtonX developed the ProtonX AI library, a collection of advanced AI models and specialized techniques designed specifically for building high-accuracy and high-performance Vietnamese chatbots, further advancing ProtonX’s mission to bring cutting-edge AI technologies into practical, real-world applications.
